GROLSCH'S EBI IS ONE OF THE GREATEST AND MOST EXPENSIVE EXISTING IN THE WORLD. An image shot by our staff when installing and powering it. This EBI is used at a speed of only 40000 bottles per hour and equipped with 18 inspections. Its Binary Classification task is accomplished by mean of 4 rejectors: 3 in the outfeed (lower side in the image) and 1 in the infeed (upper side, in the figure above). Visible 4 crates full of GROLSCH® specially prepared Test Bottles, necessary to commission the device. The total length of conveyors controlled by this Empty Bottle Inspector is ~14 meters. Due to the full-optional configuration its total price resulted close to 2000000 $

ITS INLINE™ EMPTY BOTTLE INSPECTOR INCLUDES A FINALVIEW™ FINAL INSPECTION SYSTEM to check for the clip lock correct position and orientation immediately before the bottles are sent to the Filler Machine, thus preventing possible damages of the Filler valves. Both electronic inspectors here partially visible and related peripherals had been installed, wired and powered by our staff (images Grolsch® Brewery, a SAB Miller Company, authored by Shot the Rabbit, 2013)
GROLSCH’s SWING TOP BOTTLES handling is particularly complex. Here visible details about how much space and how wide angles may be the clip lock occupy
